The Olympics are coming!

The Olympics are coming!

Fun fact: did you know my husband and my brother are Olympians?

Pretty cool, right?!

I thought it would be fun to share lessons I’ve learned from them in the coming weeks that we can apply to parenting.

First up.

It’s the journey, not the destination.

Imagine if they waited to enjoy their sport until the Olympic Games.

What about all the years leading up to that moment?

There is no better time than now to embody this approach in your parenting.

Spending these years overwhelmed, angry, and worried is no fun.

Instead, start enjoying your parenting journey today.

What do you need to be thinking?

What do you need to be feeling?

These are questions I help you answer in parent coaching.

Focusing less on your child’s achievement and more on their growth and learning will make you feel calmer and more confident.

Now, I love ambitious goals.

And, of course, I want my kids to have goals, too.

But when we wait until we reach a goal to enjoy life, we miss out on life itself.

Because the real magic lies in the journey, not the destination.

If you’re thinking, that’s how I want to live my life, let me help you.

And become a Gold Medal parent today.
